Larry and his 1929 Model A Ford Roadster
I am still able to be upright and take
nourishment, so at our advanced age I guess that is an accomplishment
in itself! Seriously, I do still enjoy good health and just this
morning took a bike ride of 17 miles before 9:30. My wife (only one)
and I will be married 46 years in October. We had two children. Our son
is a professor at WTA&M in Canyon and our daughter lives in New
Home (a small town south of Lubbock) where her husband is in management
for New York Life. they also engage in a small farm and raising
registered show cattle.
I retired in May '97 from Diamond Shamrock
after spending 33 years. 30 years of that here in Pampa. So you see the
nut hasn't fallen far from the tree---It's been a good and happy life
though and God has been very very good to us.
