Hello fellow 57’ers, Everyone must feel the same way I do –what happened to the last fifty years? I avoid mirrors and it seems to take care of most of the time shock. We’ve now been in Colorado Springs longer than anywhere else since 1957. Phil continues to lawyer during the week and “herd” a flock of Shetland sheep and a mule named Fudd on the weekends. After twenty-five years in the classroom and library, I spend time gardening, churching, eating good food, and part timing with a state-licensing program for librarians. Our son, wife, and Grandboy live in Austin; Kirk is in the software business but his real passion is coaching rugby for the Austin Huns. Our daughter continues to cope with multiple physical problems but cope she does. We live on Cheyenne Creek and deal with bears, mountain lion, deer and fox – I may someday be hauled off for attacking squirrels, but it’s a noble cause – they do a number on petunias. I look forward to seeing all of you again – it’s been a long time. And Luther, our webmaster, you’re doing a magnificent job. Bravo!
