Here I am with my wife, Diana,  at our house north of Bastrop, TX

by the horns
Here I am on my cousin's place north of Liberty Hill Texas.  You could say I have the bull by the horns.

October 1960 - August 1964 United States Air Force
Fall 1964 - Spring 1965 University of Texas

November 1965 - April 1969 Trans World Airlines - San Francisco
April 1969 - August 1982 Trans World Airlines - Denver
August 1982 - October 1992 Trans World Airlines - Kansas City
October 1992 - April 2001 Federal Reserve Bank - Kansas City
April 2001 - April 2002 Federal Reserve Bank - Bastrop, Texas
April 2002 - current  Retired - Bastrop Texas

There really isn't a Federal Reserve Bank in Bastrop but I telecommuted for a year.  The Air Force years were spent at San Antonio, New Haven, Connecticut, San Angelo, Texas, Taipei, Taiwan and Waco, Texas.

I've been married for 35 to the same beautiful lady.  She was a flight attendant for TWA and then a school teacher.  She has ambitions to be an RN. We adopted two boys and had two boys of our own.  Two are still alive. One is a deputy sheriff in a rural Pennsylvania County and the other works here in Austin.

I'm not nearly as fat as I look in the picture with the bull.  I didn't end up with a lot of money but have a lot of fun.

Christmas picture - 2004
Luther and Diana, November 2004. This is going to be our Christmas card.  The pines I planted as seedlings in the spring of 2002.  There are approximately 220 of them still growing. One of my favorite projects.
