Lot's of things have happened to me since 1957.
I graduated from Tech in May 1962, and went into the Army for 6 months
in July. Spent my time at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. When I got out, I
moved to Los Angeles and went to work at North American Aviation on the
Apollo Program. In 1965 I transferred to Cape Canaveral, FL. Got
married in December 1966 and moved to Mississippi in 1967 and went to
work for the State as a Management Consultant. >From that I became a
Real Estate Consultant, went to and graduated from Law School, and then
got into banking in 1979. I'm a Vice President in Special Assets with
AmSouth Bank. Eligible to retire, but haven't decided when. I teach
school part time at a Junior College and have three classes at a Senior
college. Dona and I have two kids, Dendy, 34, and Robbie, 32. Dendy is married and has two kids, Davis, 4, and Elizabeth, 9 weeks. Robbie is still single and lives in Nashville. My mother died in 1992 but Dad is still in Pampa, age 88, and is living in the Merideth House, an assisted living apartment. We were last there in May 2001. My sister, Sylvia, is still single and is a Professor at Texas A & M. She was here for Thanksgiving two years ago. |
