earl and delma

Inside a Glacier-Switzerland 2001

As you can see we have been traveling some since our retirement. We (Earl Evans, Delma Franklin) were married in 1959. While Earl was in the Coast Guard we lived in California and Alaska where our oldest son was born. Then we went to Hardin Simmons University and both graduated. Earl graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. We came to Montana for his 1st pastorate at Glendive in 1969, then went to Huron, South Dakota and have been here in Lewistown, Montana since 1975. We have four wonderful children and seven grandchildren. Earl retired as pastor of Central Baptist Church 1994 and Delma retired from Montana Power Company in 1997 after 21 years. Earl has been interim pastor at several places varying from 3 months to 4 ½ years. We just returned in May of this year 2007, from a 7 ½ months stay in Germany were he was interim pastor for the second time at a basically military church. We were first there in 2001 just after 9/11. We went on a mission trip to Venezuela in 2001 and Earl went to South Africa in 2006. The Lord has blessed us with good health and we just want to be available to go wherever and do whatever the Lord wants us to do. Delma even took up golf last year so we go out and get a little exercise everyday chasing a little white ball around. We are anxious to see everyone in September. Thanks Luther, Vicky, Alicia, and others who have put so much work into this.
