Bio for Bonnie Brown Immel After school I took nurses training and became a LVN.. I married Charles Blythe, and lived in Los Angeles California.. I worked there in the St.Frances Catholic hospital. I have one son Gordon Blythe, I have 2 grandchildren, and 4 great grand children.. They live in Houston..and Amarillo. Chuck passed away some time ago.. I married Elmer Immel in 1958. We had a custom farm and ranch in Mc.Lean Texas. We raised cattle, chickens, horses and had a garden. We custom farmed hay, milo, and wheat for other people. I loved the ranch life. I do miss it. After Elmer died I moved to Pampa. Mother (Margie Brown still lives in the old home place south of Pampa where my sister Barbara, and brother Reggie Jr. lived along with Joyce and Charles and Walter Owens my mothers sister and brothers who lived with us. I have worked as a nurse at all the area local hospitals here..Worley, Highland General, and a lot of the local rest homes...I worked in Amarillo and the hospital in McLean Texas. I sold the farm in Mc lean last year and the person who bought it is turning it into a wind farm. I retired from nursing in 1995. I now work at the super Walmart Center here in Pampa. I enjoy talking to people and my home life. My pets are cats..love them! Hope to see all of you at the reunion. See you Bonnie Brown Immel |
