I have really enjoyed reading all the bios. I am really impressed with the accomplishments of so many of my classmates.

We were married in June of 1957 and moved to Lubbock where Bill finished school at Texas Tech. After graduating we moved to Hale Center, Texas. That was Bill’s first job teaching agriculture in high school. After 5 years we moved to Tulia, Texas where Bill continued teaching. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my children. We were active in our church and community. In January 1973 we moved to Hockley, Texas where Bill took the job of superintendent of Boys Country a Christian home for boys. Our children were all in school at that time so I decided I needed something else to do. I took the job of church secretary of Waller Baptist Church where we attended. Twenty eight years later I retired.

My life has been blessed with one husband, Bill, 50 years this past June. We have four great children and seven smart, talented, beautiful, good looking, and sweet grand-children. The oldest is 21 and the youngest 4 years old. They all live within 30 miles of our house. Needless to say we have a lot of traffic in and out of our home. We love having them close enough to come often.

We have done some traveling the last 4 years. We are both reasonably healthy. I am looking forward to seeing all of you in September.
