Leaving the Panhandle of Texas, I attended North Texas State, receiving a Bachelor of Science in elementary education.  Married in 1962 to Jack Haesly of Dallas and we have two daughters.  Did some clerical work for awhile, substitute teaching in schools before working full time as a teacher for the Richardson Independent School District.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades during the first 15 years of teaching.  Will never forget a boy, a 5th grader,  who liked to instigate problems and sit back to watch them happen.  I know he must be a president of some company today!
Attended The University of Texas in Dallas and received a masters degree in Special Education.  The last 15 years of my career were spent in special education with 2nd and 3rd graders.  With elementary age students, you never know what they will say or do.  I've been called Mother Goose, and asked my age to which I replied, "What do you think?"  "Oh, bout a hundred."  Then a cafeteria server told me, "I just loves to serve you because you just loves to eat."  That's probably a fact! There are a few stories which I will not put in writing at this time.
About 1981, I divorced.  Recently moved from my home in Richardson of 41 years to a new home in Euless,Texas.  My two daughters and their families live across the street from each other and I am about 5 minutes away living with my dog, Baxter.  My oldest daughter, Angela, married Tim, an engineer for Bell Helicopter.  Their chiuldren are Kara, age 16, and Grant, age 8.  Ingrid married Udo from Germany.  Their children are Hans, age 3, and Emmi, age 1.  Ingrid is a gynecologist practicing in Ft. Worth.  Udo has a Ph.D in computer science but currently is a stay-at-home dad with the children.  He is doing a marvelous job too.
I suppose the land and vegetation I grew up with has never left me because I love to garden (especially flowers).  I enjoy photography, scrapbook projects, listening to music, and reading mystery books.  I can remember singing with my dad as we rode in the pick-up truck "Home, Home on the Range" and "You are my Sunshine".  The area will never leave my heart.
I live very near the Dallas Ft. Worth Airport.  If you're in the area, please do give me a call or come by my home.
                                                               Sincerely,
                                                               Ann Price Haesly
