Ruth and Duggan

This is a photo of our family taken June 2004 at Virgin Gorda, BVI.
We had all 10 of us on a 52 foot sailboat for a week.  We came back still friends and loved every minute of this,
possibly, once in a lifetime experience.  Duggan was Capt. and we were the crew, cooks and deckhands.  The
children and grandchildren would go again in a minute if Mother and Dad paid. .

Since our last reunion you will notice we have moved. We had just sold our home on Eagle Mountain Lake north of Fort Worth.

We moved into our home in Pecan Plantation south of Granbury, TX. May 1998, and we love it here. Never have we lived any place where we have met so many people so quickly. The plantation is surrounded by the Brazos River with hundreds of pecan trees and approximately 5000 people.

Both Duggan and I play golf. He tries to play twice a week. I play once a week in a 9 hole ladies group, but only when not too hot or too cold! We are involved in the Acton United Methodist Church, about 7 miles from our home. We are each involved in a number of group activities or committees of Pecan Plantation.

Retirement has been very busy for us. We have had several trips including England, the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Australia, and New Zealand. During the last 48 years of marriage, we have traveled in most of the 50 United States.

Our children are all 10 years older, as are we, since the last reunion! Deborah, Jeff, Matthew (16), and Luke (14) live in Cypress, TX (part of Houston). Diann, Alan, Alexandra (16), and Jake (12) live in Weatherford, TX. The two 16 year olds are driving!

On August 7, 2007, Duggan and I will be married 48 years. The trip to Australia and New Zealand in March this year, was an early celebration with 3 couples, friends who live at Pecan and attend our church.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!
